The Zarg is an upgraded Zorp. It is a hunter mob that can only be damaged if the player is level 82 or over.
Spawning
Zargs spawn from spawners found inside Zarg Homeplanets. It will despawn if the player gets too far away from them, or if the difficulty is set to Peaceful.
Zargs can be spawned using /summon nevermine.Zarg
.
Drops
Zargs have a rare chance to drop pieces of the Zargonite Armor as well as the Dual Sight. Neither items can be increased with the Looting enchantment.
Zargs will drop 890 hunter xp when killed by the player. They will also always drop 3 XP orbs.
Behavior
Zargs will pursue players that come within 16 blocks of them. They cannot pathfind, and will always try and go straight for the player. Zargs will always float on water, even if their target is below them.
Zargs have the ability to spawn in Fake Zorps. Every game tick, a Zarg has a 0.83% chance to spawn in a Fake Zorp. They will spawn the Fake Zorps on top of the player.
Fake Zorp
|
Fake ZorpsA Zarg has a 0.83%% chance every game tick to spawn in a Fake Zorp on top of the player. Fake Zorps look and act like regular Zorps, except they are unkillable through all means. Like regular Zorps, they will pursue players within 16 blocks, cannot pathfind, and will always float on water, even if their target is below them (Zargs will still spawn Fake Zorps on top of underwater players though). If there are no Zargs within range of a Fake Zorp, it will disappear after a few seconds. Fake Zorps can be spawned using /summon nevermine.FakeZorp. |
