A question[]

Are you the new wiki manager (replacing Pcj)? -EatingSilencerforBreakfast (talk) 01:26, 11 January 2019 (UTC)

Very much so, yes. Surafbrov (talk) 06:35, 11 January 2019 (UTC)

More questions[]

  1. Sometimes, when someone downloads a file from one of the wiki links (such as [tslat.net/Hosting/Tslat-AoA/aoa3-SNAPSHOT-10.jar this]), the file messes up and gets renamed to $. Do you have any idea of why this occrus?
  2. Can we please get Extension:Duplicator installed on this wiki?

Thanks!-EatingSilencerforBreakfast (talk) 22:22, 8 February 2019 (UTC)

For the first one, that sounds like it could be a server side issue on their side or a browser/addon issue on the user side. I can't reproduce it. One thing the user could do is to disable their addons on the browser just for a trial and error. Second, what exactly is the goal to duplicate articles? Is there a basic format you'd like certain articles to follow on? Surafbrov (talk) 23:56, 8 February 2019 (UTC)
Basically, for duplicating pages, there are two different versions of the mod we want to document, and the idea is that we duplicate the original page to a subpage (to serve as like an archive of this version) and then edit the original page like normal. The reason I thought about duplicating pages in particular (as opposed to copy+pasting content) is to keep history intact. -EatingSilencerforBreakfast (talk) 14:28, 10 February 2019 (UTC)
Alright. The extension isn't available on Gamepedia but you can request for it here so it can be reviewed. Surafbrov (talk) 15:56, 10 February 2019 (UTC)

Removal of formatting from navbox[]

I am just curious behind your removal of some of the formatting of the navbox template in these edits. -EatingSilencerforBreakfast (talk) 23:19, 12 March 2019 (UTC)

It is just a different format; since the previous format didn't work out with the new CSS. If more lists are needed, it can be added. Since MediaWiki suppresses the .navbox for mobile, the css was changed to .navbox2. Surafbrov (talk) 00:28, 13 March 2019 (UTC)

Extension:TemplateData[]

Can we please get Extension:TemplateData installed on this wiki? -EatingSilencerforBreakfast (talk) 16:44, 14 April 2019 (UTC)

Okay, it is done. Surafbrov (talk) 17:11, 14 April 2019 (UTC)
Thanks! -EatingSilencerforBreakfast (talk) 17:12, 14 April 2019 (UTC)
There seems to be a problem, the JSON claims to be bad and it won't let me remove it. (See Template:ItemInfo). -EatingSilencerforBreakfast (talk) 17:22, 14 April 2019 (UTC)
The description needs to be in quotations ( "description" ) , you'll also get another error as some of the others are required like params. See Extension:TemplateData. Surafbrov (talk) 17:36, 14 April 2019 (UTC)
Okay, I saw what you were talking about. It wouldn't let you edit the page. You need to click the "Manage TemplateData" button at the top when you just get to the edit page and it'll display a message about the Bad JSON. Fixed. Surafbrov (talk) 17:49, 14 April 2019 (UTC)
Chinese wiki hasn't installed Extension:TemplateData. :( --Angrydog001議(Talk)/誌(Logs)/勛(Contribs) zhwiki-admin 19:23, 14 April 2019 (UTC)
It is installed. Surafbrov (talk) 19:44, 14 April 2019 (UTC)

Patrollers user group[]

Recently a user has requested to be a part of the Patrollers and Rollbackers user group, but that does not exist on this wiki. What is the possibility that something like that can be implemented here? -EatingSilencerforBreakfast (talk) 13:56, 8 July 2019 (UTC)

Done. Surafbrov (talk) 14:50, 8 July 2019 (UTC)

Done. ZH wiki already had it enabled. Surafbrov (talk) 05:01, 11 July 2019 (UTC)

Hi, would it be possible to get Extension:ImageMap installed onto this wiki please?-EatingSilencerforBreakfast (talk) 22:35, 31 August 2019 (UTC)

Wiki file sharing[]

Hello, I have a question. Is it possible to set something up to allow this wiki to use a different wiki's files? This would mainly be used to borrow images from the Minecraft Wiki-EatingSilencerforBreakfast (talk) 21:19, 13 November 2019 (UTC)

It is possible but the other languages (ZH, RU, and FR) would lose access to the files on the EN wiki. Surafbrov (talk) 00:08, 14 November 2019 (UTC)
Does that mean the language wikis lose access to the all english wiki files, or that language wikis will have to link to the other wiki files themselves? -EatingSilencerforBreakfast (talk) 01:59, 15 November 2019 (UTC)
It'll lose access to the EN wiki files. Surafbrov (talk) 02:00, 15 November 2019 (UTC)

Extension:CodeEditor[]

Hello, can you enable Extension:CodeEditor onto our wiki please? -EatingSilencerforBreakfast (talk) 19:28, 20 January 2020 (UTC)

Okay, enabled. Surafbrov (talk) 19:54, 20 January 2020 (UTC)
Would it be possible to allow CodeEditor to work for editing Lua modules as well? Based on the extension page it seems like it doesn't work on module pages by default. –Sonicwave talk 00:44, 21 January 2020 (UTC)
That should be enabled too. Surafbrov (talk) 19:46, 21 January 2020 (UTC)
