The Baroness Altar is a boss spawning altar.

Obtaining

A Baroness Altar can be mined with a pickaxe enchanted with Silk Touch. If mined without Silk Touch, or mined without a pickaxe, it will drop nothing.

Natural generation

A Baroness Altar can be found in each Baroness Arena.

Usage

Boss Spawning

The player can use a Warlock Gem on the Baroness Altar to spawn the boss Baroness. Baroness will spawn directly above the altar, and the Warlock Gem will be consumed.

In order for Baroness to spawn, the Baroness Altar block must be placed in Barathos, and the difficulty must not be Peaceful. If either of these conditions are not met, then Baroness will not spawn. Being in creative mode will not override these condition requirements.

When Baroness is spawned, the player will be forcefully pushed away from the block.
