Ancient Lights can be mined with anything as long as the thing is enchanted with Silk Touch. If mined without Silk Touch, nothing will drop.

They are exclusive to creative mode, and can not be obtained in survival by any means.

Natural generation

Ancient Lights do not naturally generate.

Usage

Ancient Lights will emit a light level of 15 when placed. They do not require a redstone signal.
