Warclops are hostile melee mobs that spawn naturally in the Overworld.
Spawning[ | ]
Warclops spawn naturally in most biomes in the Overworld.
They have a low spawn chance and will spawn much less frequently than most other mobs.
They will only spawn during the day, and like most other mobs; their spawning can be prevented by placing torches or other lighting blocks nearby to raise the light level above 7.
They will despawn if the player gets too far away from them, or if the difficulty is set to Peaceful.
Behavior[ | ]
Warclops are melee mobs that will follow targets both on land and in water. They will initially attempt to avoid getting into the water where possible, but will go in if they find no other path to their target.
They are aggressive, and will attack nearby players within 16 blocks without provocation. If attacked by another entity, they will retaliate and continue targeting that entity.
Staying outside of their targeting range will prevent them from attacking or targeting entities.

When a Warclops successfully attacks an entity, it will deal increased knockback and apply slowness for 2.5 seconds.
