The Vox Cannon is a long-ranged weapon from Vox Ponds.

Obtaining[edit | edit source]

Grocculate[edit | edit source]

Grocculates have a 1% chance to drop the cannon on death. The chance to get one cannot be increased with the Looting enchantment.

Trading[edit | edit source]

One Vox Cannon can be bought from a Store Keeper for 50 Gold Coins and 2 Sludge Parasites each.

Repairing[edit | edit source]

Vox Cannons can be repaired in an anvil with Rosite Ingots, or at a Mending Table with Magic Mending Solution.

Two damaged Vox Cannons can be crafted together, combining the durability of the two guns, plus an extra 5% durability.

Usage[edit | edit source]

Vox Cannons can be fired by right-clicking them. They can only be used if the player has the proper ammunition in their inventory or is in creative mode. Like all guns, Vox Cannons will slow the player holding it slightly.

Vox Cannons can be fired at the rate of 1 shot every 2 seconds. Projectiles fired from the gun will poison enemies on contact. The poison lasts for 5 seconds and does 10 (Heart.png×5) damage. Projectiles fired from the cannon are affected by gravity, but are not affected by the Strength buff.

Enchanting[edit | edit source]

Vox Cannons can be given 4 different enchantments. They can only be enchanted at an Infusion Table or Divine Station.

  • Unbreaking - same as vanilla.
  • Intervention - let's you keep the Vox Cannon if you die. Max level of I.
  • Shell - increases damage. Max level of III.
  • Control - reduces recoil. Max level of II.
