The Vine Wizard is an aggressive ranged mob that spawns in Wizard Flowers. They have the Attribute of Magic Immunity.

Spawning[edit | edit source]

Vine Wizards spawn in Wizard Flowers in Gardencia.

They will despawn if the player gets too far away from them, or if the difficulty is set to Peaceful.

Behavior[edit | edit source]

When alone, Vine Wizards wander around aimlessly, walking at slow speeds.

When they spot a player, they will create a series of large falling projectiles from the sky. The Vine Wizard's projectiles apply a strong slowness effect to their target for a few seconds. These projectiles can also kill other mobs, including the Vine Wizard themself.

If the player moves out of their fire range, Vine Wizards will slowly walk towards the target player until back into range of fire

When in water they will regenerate 4 (Heart.png×2) per second, and when under rain will regenerate 2 (Heart.png×1) per second. When in contact with candied water, they will have their maximum health increased by 50 (Heart.png×25) and they will heal by a large amount.
