Tricksters are hostile melee mobs that spawn naturally in the Overworld.
Spawning[ | ]
Tricksters spawn naturally in all biomes in the Overworld.
They will only spawn under Y=20, and only in places with a light level lower than 8. Their spawning can be prevented by placing torches or other lighting blocks nearby to raise the light level above 7.
Behavior[ | ]
Tricksters are melee mobs that will follow targets both on land and in water. They will initially attempt to avoid getting into the water where possible, but will go in if they find no other path to their target.
They are aggressive, and will attack nearby players within 16 blocks without provocation. If attacked by another entity, they will retaliate and continue targeting that entity.
Staying outside of their targeting range will prevent them from attacking or targeting entities.

Every 12 seconds, Tricksters will go invisible for 3 seconds, playing a sound when doing so.
