Sasquatches are hostile melee mobs from the Overworld.

Spawning[edit | edit source]

Sasquatches can spawn naturally in Plains, Forest, and Extreme Hills biomes in the Overworld. They can spawn at any light level, but will only spawn during the daytime.

Sasquatches can only spawn on the following blocks: grass blocks, dirt, stone, gravel, sand, snow blocks, snow layer, and vanilla ore blocks.

Behavior[edit | edit source]

Sasquatches are melee attackers. They have a sight-range of 16 blocks, and will pursue the nearest player within that radius. They can pathfind around obstacles.

Drops[edit | edit source]

Sasquatches drop the following items with the listed distribution:

Item Drops Requires player? Quantity Rate
Tea Seeds.png Tea Seeds No 1 without the Looting enchantment.
1 additional item can be dropped with every level of Looting up to a maximum of 9 additional items with Looting IX.
1 in 6 (16.67%) chance. Chance to drop not increasable with Looting enchantment.
Brown Blaster.png Brown Blaster Yes 1 1 in 50 (2%) chance.
Chance can be increased with the Looting enchantment until a maximum increase of 0.43% with Looting IX.

Experience orbs[edit | edit source]

Sasquatch will drop 1.5 vanilla experience orbs when defeated.

Bestiary Entry[edit | edit source]

Slow, brutish, and unintelligent, Sasquatches are a commonly seen creature that roams throughout plains and woodlands. Their lack of intelligence is effortlessly countered by their high physical strength, and taking one on physically may prove a challenge.

They have trouble recognising friend from foe, and have been known to attack humans because of this. Be aware of their presence and avoid if possible.
