The Poison Plunger is an energy weapon from Vox Ponds.

Obtaining[edit | edit source]

Mob Drops[edit | edit source]

A Toxxulous has a 1% chance to drop one when killed. The chance to get one cannot be increased with the Looting enchantment.

Trading[edit | edit source]

One Poison Plunger can be bought from a Store Keeper at the price of 50 Gold Coins and 2 Toxic Lump.

Repairing[edit | edit source]

Poison Plungers can be repaired in an anvil with Rosite Ingots, or at a Mending Table with Magic Mending Solution.

Two damaged Poison Plungers can be crafted together, combining the durability of the two guns, plus an extra 5% durability.

Usage[edit | edit source]

A Poison Plunger can be used by right-clicking it. A Poison Plunger can only be used if the player has enough Energy or is in creative mode. While holding the Poison Plunger, the player will be slowed slightly.

When used, the Poison Plunger will fire 5 projectiles. These projectiles can be fired at the rate of 2 firings per second. Projectiles fired from the Poison Plunger are affected by gravity and will poison enemies that come into contact with them. The poison does about 5 (Heart.png×2.5) damage to the target. The projectiles are not affected by the Strength buff.

Enchanting[edit | edit source]

Poison Plungers can receive four different enchantments. They can only be enchanted at an Infusion Table or Divine Station.

  • Unbreaking - same as vanilla.
  • Intervention - let's you keep the Poison Plunger if you die. Max level of I.
  • Overpower - increases the fire rate. Max level of II.
  • Recharge - cost to fire is reduced. Max level of II.
