The Omnilight is a flying ranged mob that spawns in the Shyrelands.

Spawning[edit | edit source]

Omnilights can spawn naturally anywhere in the Shyrelands that is below y = 36.

Behavior[edit | edit source]

If not provoked, omnilights will remain idle. Upon catching sight of a player, omnilights will hover above the ground towards the player's direction. If the player leaves their sight range (16 blocks), omnilights will begin flying in random directions, while gaining altitude, until a player gets back into range.

Omnilights will follow players into water, unlike other mobs.

Omnilights can do both melee and ranged damage. In addition to attacking the player with a melee attack, they can also fire projectiles. Every time the player is in range, they have a 6.6% chance every tick to fire a projectile in the player's direction. This projectile will do 8 (Heart.png×4) damage upon contact with the player, and is affected by gravity.

Omnilights will still attack players inflicted with invisibility like normal, unlike other mobs.
