The Monster is a powerful sniper rifle from Lelyetia.

The Monster can be obtained as a 50% chance drop from a Grobbler.

Upgrading[edit | edit source]

The Monster can be upgraded into the Dark Beast by crafting it with a Darkly Upgrade Kit.

Statistics[edit | edit source]

The Monster is a sniper rifle. When held, the player will look through it's scope. The Monster has a unique scope that it shares only with the Dark Beast. The player cannot walk around while scoping, unless the player is wearing a full set of the Sharpshot Armor. The gun will also inflict Slowness on the player when held.

The ammunition required to fire the Monster is Metal Pellets. The gun has a 33% chance to not consume ammunition upon firing. Bullets fired from the Monster are not affected by gravity.

Damage[edit | edit source]

The Monster does 75 (Heart.png×37.5) damage by default. The amount of damage it can do can be increased with the Shell enchantment, as well as by wearing Sharpshot Armor or Purity Armor.

Recoil[edit | edit source]

The Monster has massive recoil. The Control enchantment can be used to decrease it.

Enchanting[edit | edit source]

The Monster can be given the following enchantments:

  • Shell - increases damage by 20% with Shell I, 40% with Shell II, and 60% with Shell III. However, will also increase reload time by 20% with Shell I, 40% with Shell II, and 60% with Shell III. Max level of III. (See here for exact values).
  • Control - reduces recoil by 25% with Control I, and 50% with Control II. Max level of II.
  • Unbreaking - same as Vanilla.
  • Intervention - gun is kept at death.

The Monster can only be enchanted an an Infusion Table or Divine Station.
