MechBot (also known as the Fighter) is a boss in Iromine.

Spawning[edit | edit source]

MechBot can currently be spawned by using a Gold Spring on a MechBot Altar. It will despawn if the player gets too far away from him, or if the difficulty is set to Peaceful.

Behavior[edit | edit source]

MechBot will pursue players that come within 16 blocks of him. The main gimmick of MechBot's fight is his ability to fire explosive projectiles while jumping around.

MechBot is immune to explosions.

Jumping[edit | edit source]

MechBot has a jumping ability where he leaps into the air multiple times in succession. After being initially spawned, MechBot will wait 5.5 seconds before jumping. After 5.5 seconds is up, he will leap straight up into the air, and after 0.75 seconds will leap again while still in midair. MechBot will continue jumping every 0.75 seconds until he's made 4 jumps, in this case he will stop jumping and wait another 10 seconds before jumping again. After 10 seconds is up, he will repeat the jumping procedure done previously.

MechBot will drop a projectile called MechFall after every subsequent jump. If MechBot's health is above 1250 (Heart.png×625), he will only drop one MechFall per jump, if his health is below 1250 (Heart.png×625), he will drop 6 MechFalls per jump.

Explosive Projectiles[edit | edit source]

Whenever the player is within his line of sight, MechBot has a 1 in 40 chance every tick to fire an explosive projectile. When his health falls below 1000 (Heart.png×500), MechBot increases his fire rate to a 1 in 10 chance every tick.
