Mauls are knockback-based melee weapons. Mauls generally deal higher damage and have far higher knockback than swords and greatblades, but are slower than both. Mauls also have slightly increased melee range (about half a block further than a sword), but cannot deal critical hits. They are still affected by Battle Rage and the Strength effect though. Additionally, Mauls have a chance to disable Shields on hit in the same way Axes can. Mauls deal melee damage, and deal no damage to enemies with Melee.png Melee Immunity.

All Mauls have an attack speed of 0.53.

Enchanting[edit | edit source]

Mauls can be given the following enchantments:

Bolded enchantments are ones added by Advent of Ascension. Any Mauls can be enchanted at an Enchantment Table, Anvil, or Infusion Table.
