Behavior[edit | edit source]
Kror is immune to knockback. He will occasionally attempt to pull you towards him and inflicts the instant damage effect on you when near him, meaning you will die almost instantly (with the exception of a few armor sets if you are wearing them) if you get in physical contact with Kror. All projectiles that hit Kror are capped to doing a max of 10 (×5) damage.
WARNING: If you do get in physical contact with Kror and he himself had the chance to hit you, not only will it do a lot of damage but inflict Slowness III for 7.5 seconds, making it impossible to escape the instant damage radius.
Strategies[edit | edit source]
First and foremost, spawning Kror is dangerous in itself, if not the hardest part of the fight as he can kill you in one or two hits before you have the chance to run away. To prevent this, either Speed or Phantasm Armor with high protection enchants is a good idea so Kror cannot succeed in killing you before you maintain a safe distance. Otherwise if you have little resources where you cannot enchant your armor, bring a Kaiyu Staff to shield yourself to get away easier.
As for the fight itself, ranged weapons are a must such as the Iominator or the Mind Blaster as there is no longer a recoil for damaging Kror with projectiles. Rushing in with a sword is a terrible mistake as he will kill you quickly regardless of your protection levels.
ALTERNATIVELY: Bringing Poison or Ghastly Armor is highly recommended as it makes you invulnerable to the instant damage effect. Unknown if intended.
Another effective strategy is throwing an ender pearl and spawning Kror right before the ender pearl hits the ground. He can then simply be killed from a distance.
Drops[edit | edit source]
Kror drops are exclusive. That means you will get only 1 of all possible items per kill, along with the respective statue of this boss.
When killed, this boss always drops its stone statue version.
