Spawning[edit | edit source]
King Chargers will rarely spawn in Plains, Forests, and Extreme Hills biomes at any light level.
Spawning[edit | edit source]
King Chargers spawn naturally in most biomes in the Overworld.
They have a low spawn chance and will spawn much less frequently than most other mobs.
They will only spawn during the day, and like most other mobs; their spawning can be prevented by placing torches or other lighting blocks nearby to raise the light level above 7.
Behavior[edit | edit source]
King Chargers are melee mobs that will follow targets both on land and in water. They will initially attempt to avoid getting into the water where possible, but will go in if they find no other path to their target.
They are aggressive, and will attack nearby players within 16 blocks without provocation. If attacked by another entity, they will retaliate and continue targeting that entity.
Staying outside of their targeting range will prevent them from attacking or targeting entities.
When running, King Chargers do not handle quick turning very well. They require a short distance to slow down, or to take a wide turn. This allows players more easily outmaneuver them.
Unique Abilities[edit | edit source]
When a King Charger successfully attacks an entity, it will apply weakness 5 for 2.25 seconds, severely weakening the target.

Bestiary Entry[edit | edit source]
“ | The result of a failed experiment of Pluton, in an attempt to create a Charger of his own. King chargers are much like normal chargers, with the exception that they're significantly larger, wear a crown, and have been blessed by Pluton.
Avoid these at all costs, as their increased stamina, strength, and speed is enough to challenge any unprepared adventurer. Their natural Charger instincts are present, and they will attack in much the same way normal chargers will, however their added strength is enough to temporarily weaken anything it manages to land a successful blow on. |
