Graw (also known as the Forest Guardian) is the only boss in the Lands of Lelyetia. He is the guardian protector of the forests of Lelyetia, to which he also calls his home.

Spawning[edit | edit source]

Graw can be spawned by using a Guardian's Eye on a Graw Altar.

Behavior[edit | edit source]

Graw is a flying boss. Graw flies around in aimless directions, much like that of a Ghast.

Graw has a pull ability that affects all players within 85 blocks of Graw on any axis. There are two different pulls that Graw can use: a weak pull and a stronger one. The weak pull is always active, causing any player within the 85-block range to be dragged on their feet slowly in Graw's general direction. The stronger pull is strong enough to pick the player up and fly them over to Graw's location quickly. The player will have little control while Graw performs this attack until Graw lets go, which is a few seconds after he initiates the attack. Graw will perform the stronger pull attack 3 seconds immediately after he is spawned, and will perform the attack every 17 seconds afterwards.

Graw also has the ability to spit explosive yellow projectiles at the player. He can fire these at the rate of 1-2 projectiles per second, provided he has clear sight of the player. The projectiles explode upon contact with the ground or entities, doing up to 30 (Heart.png×15) damage to whatever they hit. The explosions do not destroy blocks.

Graw has the attribute of Gun Immunity.

If Graw reaches y = 110, his AI will fly him closer to the ground. If he ends up flying through one of Lelyetia's many holes, he can still fly into the void however.

If Graw makes contact with Churry Wood, Achony Wood, Churry Leaves, Achony Leaves or Lelyetian Core, he will eat the blocks and replace them with air.

Drops[edit | edit source]

When defeated, Graw has the ability to drop 1 of 4 weapons. He will always drop one weapon when defeated. Graw will also always drop his statue.

Strategies[edit | edit source]

It is recommended to have fall damage resistance, such as feather falling enchantments and fall damage immune armors, such as the Alacrity Armor set although bringing the Lunar Armor is a better recommendation unless you're up for the risk. It is wise to not bring any guns as these will be rendered automatically ineffective due to Graw's gun immunity attribute. Archergun are the only automatic ranged weapons capable of damaging Graw, so it may be a wise idea to bring a powerful, well enchanted archergun. If possible, bring a Gravitator, to help you avoid falling into the world holes in Lelyetia.

A good archergun to bring is the Skeletal Archergun as it has a fast fire rate and does a good amount of damage.

Try to avoid jumping as much as possible. Due to its gravitation ability, jumping will cause you to lose all traction with the ground, causing you to be dragged uncontrollably towards it and can end up with you falling into the various holes in Lelyetia.

Absolutely DO NOT fight Graw with melee weapons as Graw spends most of his time airborne.
