The Gas Blaster is an energy weapon from Vox Ponds.

Obtaining[edit | edit source]

Nightwings[edit | edit source]

The Gas Blaster has a 1% chance to be dropped from a Nightwing when killed. The chance to get one cannot be increased with the Looting enchantment.

Trading[edit | edit source]

A Store Keeper will sell one Gas Blaster for 50 Gold Coins and 2 Doom Stones each.

Repairing[edit | edit source]

Gas Blasters can be repaired in an anvil with Rosite Ingots, or at a Mending Table with Magic Mending Solution.

Two damaged Gas Blasters can be crafted together, combining the durability of the two guns, plus an extra 5% durability.

Usage[edit | edit source]

A Gas Blaster can be used by right-clicking it. A Gas Blaster can only be used if the player has enough Energy or is in creative mode. While holding the Gas Blaster, the player will be slowed slightly.

The Gas Blaster can be fired at the average speed of 1 projectile per second. A Gas Blaster's projectiles are not affected by gravity. The projectiles shot from the Gas Blaster will poison mobs that come into contact with them. The poison does about 3 (Heart.png×1.5) damage to the affected mob. Damage done by the projectile is unaffected by the strength buff.

Enchanting[edit | edit source]

Gas Blasters can receive four different enchantments. They can only be enchanted at an Infusion Table or Divine Station.

  • Unbreaking - same as vanilla.
  • Intervention - let's you keep the Gas Blaster if you die. Max level of I.
  • Overpower - increases the fire rate. Fire rate is increased to about 2 shots per second with level I and up to 3+ shots per second with level II. Max level of II.
  • Recharge - cost to fire is reduced. 20% energy cost reduction for level I and 40% energy cost reduction for level II. Max level of II.
