|This article is about the Desert Charger. For other charger variants, see Charger (disambiguation).|
Desert Chargers are hostile melee mobs that spawn in the Overworld in deserts.
Spawning[edit | edit source]
Desert Chargers will spawn in deserts at any light level.
Behavior[edit | edit source]
Desert Chargers are melee attackers. They have a sight-range of 32 blocks, and will pursue the nearest player within that radius. They cannot pathfind around obstacles, and will always attempt to charge straight at the player, circling around if they miss. They inflict Weakness I for 7.5 seconds.
Drops[edit | edit source]
Desert Chargers drop:
|Item Drops||Requires player?||Quantity||Rate|
|Charger Shank||No||1||50%||Only if set on fire|
|Raw Charger Shank||No||1||100%|
Bestiary[edit | edit source]
|“||The desert-evolved variant of Charger birds. Like all chargers, due to their high adaptability, they are adept at moving through their environment with their large legs. Unlike most other charger adaptions, the Desert Charger hasn't adapted their feathers and skin to match their environment. Instead, they usually appear different naturally due to sand, dirt, and dust being blended into their hair and covering their skin.
Like all chargers, these will aggressively attack by charging their bodies into the target at high speed and using their beak as a weapon.
Configuration[edit | edit source]
The spawning of Desert Chargers can be disabled in the mod's config file by disabling all overworld mobs.
