The Corrupted Traveller is a passive NPC found in Ruined Teleporters in the Overworld.

Spawning[edit | edit source]

A Corrupted Traveller always spawns at every Ruined Teleporter Frame, which generate underground in the Overworld.

If Ruined Teleporter Frames have been disabled in the configuration files by setting the Ruined Teleporter Frame Spawn Chance to 0, Corrupted Travellers will instead spawn naturally, similar to other roaming traders.

Behavior[edit | edit source]

Corrupted Travellers never move far from their portal frames, and can usually be found standing on one.

Like most other structure-related NPCs, Corrupted Travellers will not despawn naturally unless they are outside of their natural dimension.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • According to Scimiguy, the Corrupted Traveller is an allegory for members of the mod's community who awaited a new update to the mod prior to him taking over as developer, and the obvious fatigue of the years-worth of waiting.[1]
