Commands

Commands are functions that the player can input in the chat in order to perform certain tasks. Advent of Ascension adds three commands to the game.

aoaevent
  • Used to start/stop events as well as check which events are active.
  • aoaevent check can be used to check which events are currently active.
  • aoaevent start <Event> can be used to start an event.
    • Replace <Event> with the event's name.
  • aoaevent stop <Event> can be used to stop an event.
    • Replace <Event> with the event's name.
  • aoaevent help for help on using the command.
  • Has an alias: aoaevents
aoastructure
  • Used to spawn in structures.
  • /aoastructure list <Number> can be used to generate a list of structure names.
    • Replace <Number> with a number from 1-9. This will open up one of the 9 pages of structure names.
  • /aoastructure <Structure> x y z can be used to spawn in a structure.
    • Replace <Structure> with the structure's name (the player can look up structure names with /aoastructure list <Number>)
    • x y z are the coordinates. The player can also use the ~ in place of coordinates or type the word here to generate a structure at the player's location.
      • For example: /aoastructure <Structure> here will generate a structure at the player's coordinates.

aoaskill
  • Allows the player to add and remove xp from their skills, add and remove levels from a skill, as well as check their current skill level.
  • /aoaskill addxp <Skill> <Player> <Xp amount> for adding xp to a skill.
    • Replace <Skill> with skill name.
    • Replace <Player> with the name of the target player. Adding the target player is optional, if not added will default to the player using the command. @p and similar target identifiers will not work.
    • Replace <Xp amount> with the amount of xp the player wants to add to the skill.
  • /aoaskill removexp <Skill> <Player> <Xp amount> for removing xp from a skill.
    • Replace <Skill> with skill name.
    • Replace <Player> with the name of the target player. Adding the target player is optional, if not added will default to the player using the command. @p and similar target identifiers will not work.
    • Replace <Xp amount> with the amount of xp the player wants to remove from the skill.
  • /aoaskill check <Player> <Skill> for checking the level and xp in a skill.
    • Replace <Player> with the name of the target player. Adding the target player is required. @p and similar target identifiers will not work.
    • Replace <Skill> with skill name.
  • /aoaskill setlevel <Skill> <Player> <Level amount> for setting the level of a skill.
    • Replace <Skill> with skill name.
    • Replace <Player> with the name of the target player. Adding the target player is optional, if not added will default to the player using the command. @p and similar target identifiers will not work.
    • Replace <Level amount> with the level the player wants to the skill to be.
  • /aoaskill addlevel <Skill> <Player> will add exactly one level to a skill.
    • Replace <Skill> with skill name.
    • Replace <Player> with the name of the target player. Adding the target player is optional, if not added will default to the player using the command. @p and similar target identifiers will not work.
  • /aoaskill removelevel <Skill> <Player> will remove exactly one level from a skill.
    • Replace <Skill> with skill name.
    • Replace <Player> with the name of the target player. Adding the target player is optional, if not added will default to the player using the command. @p and similar target identifiers will not work.
