Bomb Carriers are hostile ranged mobs that spawn naturally in the Overworld.
Spawning[ | ]
Bomb Carriers spawn naturally in the Overworld. They will only spawn in Badlands and Eroded Badlands biomes, along with biomes tagged as forge:is_cave all at a Y level of 55 or higher- however none of the biomes must also be tagged as forge:is_snowy.
They will only spawn during the day, and like most other mobs; their spawning can be prevented by placing torches or other lighting blocks nearby to raise the light level above 0.

Bomb Carrier will aggro onto players or player-owned mobs that come into a range of 8 blocks of them. Once a Bomb Carrier is aggroed to a target, or a player/mob aggroed them, they will continue attempting to attack until the target moves over 12 blocks away. Bomb Carriers will attack by throwing sticks of dynamite at their targets.
Dynamite[ | ]
The Bomb Carrier's ranged attack involves firing an explosive stick of dynamite. When their target is in range, a Bomb Carrier will fire a stick of dynamite once every 2.6 seconds. Bomb Carriers will attempt to remain within 5-20 blocks of their target at all times; if the target goes too far away, they will give chase, and if the target is too close, they will move away from the target. Bomb Carriers will throw their dynamite no matter if they are standing still or are on the move. They will become slightly more accurate with their dynamite throws the higher the difficulty setting is. The dynamite deals both 2 (×1) ranged attack damage and 8 (×4) explosion damage.
The dynamite travels at a speed of .65 blocks/sec after being thrown. It is affected by gravity. When the dynamite makes contact with the ground or an entity, it will cause a concussive explosion.

“ | With great power comes great responsibility. Someone should have probably told that to the Bomb Carrier. This particularly careless goblin has somehow managed to find his way into a stockpile of explosives.
While it would be nice to say there's a purpose to his madness, the unfortunate truth is that he's just destructive for the sake of being destructive. Maybe his parents should have raised him better. |
