Version 1.1

Barathos is a barren desert-wasteland dimension.

Overview[edit | edit source]

Barathos is a dimension similar to the Overworld being that there are mobs that spawn both on the surface and underground.

Accessing[edit | edit source]

The Barathos Realmstone.png Realmstone to Barathos is obtained by defeating a Husk while the player holds a Blank Realmstone.

Generation[edit | edit source]

The surface of the dimension is covered in Baron Ground. Streaks of baron stone line the borders of chunks across the dimension. Various baron stone formations also appear on the surface. The dimension is mostly flat with some hills appearing occasionally.

Holes that lead to caves underground can be found on the surface. The caves stretch their way all the way down to the lowest layers of the world. The caves are not exactly the same as overworld caves. The upper layers of the underground are composed of baron stone. Two ores can be found in the upper parts of the underground: varsium ore, and baronyte ore.

If the player goes deep enough, the player will find that the baron stone is replaced with barathos hellstone. The caves down past this point are mostly the same as the caves above, except that lava lakes can also generate this low. The three ores found in the upper area are not present down here, instead, there is a single ore: blazium ore.

Dimensional Fabric generates along the bottom of the world, in place of bedrock.

There are no trees or plants in this dimension. All structures can be found on the surface.
