The Automaton is an aggressive melee golem-like mob that comes in many colors.

Spawning[edit | edit source]

Automatons spawn naturally in the Haven, and from spawners in the Ancient Cavern. They will despawn if the player gets to far away from them, or if the difficulty is set to Peaceful.

Automatons can be spawned using /summon nevermine.Automaton.

Drops[edit | edit source]

Automatons will rarely drop Ancient Cavern Realmstones or a Utopian Banner upon death. The color of the Automaton determines what gun drop the player will receive:

Orange = Dragilator.png Dragilator

Yellow = Electinator.png Electinator

Blue = Frosticator.png Frosticator

Green = Germinator.png Germinator

Purple = Krilinator.png Krilinator

None of these drops can be increased with the Looting enchantment. In the Ancient Cavern, Automatons will also drop Luxon tribute points. Automatons will drop 3 XP orbs when killed.

Behavior[edit | edit source]

Automatons will pursue players that get within 16 blocks of one. They will always float on water, even if their target is below them. Automatons use melee attacks, and will apply strong knockback upon hitting the player.
