Anglers are hostile melee mobs that appear in L'Borean
Spawning
Anglers spawn naturally in L'Borean.
They will despawn if the player gets too far away from them, or if the difficulty is set to Peaceful.
Behavior
Anglers are melee mobs that will follow targets both on land and in water. They will initially attempt to avoid getting into the water where possible, but will go in if they find no other path to their target.
They are aggressive, and will attack nearby players within 16 blocks without provocation. If attacked by another entity, they will retaliate and continue targeting that entity.
They will regenerate 2 (×1) per tick if in water.
Staying outside of their targeting range will prevent them from attacking or targeting entities.

Bestiary Entry
“ | Resembling a two-headed blue walrus, the Angler roams the L'Borean coral fields aimlessly.
In a strange feat of evolution, it appears to have a bioluminescent growth protruding from above each of its heads. It's presumed that these growths were originally intended to lure potential prey when it lived underwater. With it now being primarily a land animal however, its head growths don't have any known function. Like most other two-headed, multi-tusked creatures, Anglers are aggressive and will attack on sight. Its primary method of offense is to charge at the target and use its large tusks to pierce the flesh of its prey. |
